Wonky Granny Squares
I enjoy crocheting granny squares, however I like to be a little creative and don’t tend to adhere to the norm. I have been working on a wonky granny square, the name itself is unorthodox but it describes my crocheted granny squares to a T.
As my pile of wonky granny squares was beginning to topple over, I decided to start joining them together. The finished project will be a throw for my living room, the burgundy and cream colours match my living room rug and will help combine the overall look.
I really like the overall look, it’s almost like an optical illusion. I still have a lot more wonky granny squares to crochet and I will need to add a burgundy and cream border, however I’m getting there and I’m really pleased with how this throw is coming together.
I like granny squares too but I’m too lazy to work on it. Don’t like tidying up the ends.
